    Funny thing... many songs WERE written using only the black keys on the piano. And no, not by the Black Keys.
    It used to be known as the "slave scale" (seriously—look it up), and is otherwise more commonly known as a Pentatonic scale. Here's a great video on the subject (although it's religious):
