    Well if it does lag, try composing in a smaller window or turning the graphics quality down.

    Tip - your song starts a semitone/sixteenth note too late.
    It's meant to be like this:

    Also you realize right that you've used note lengths too long? (You could've just done this for the echo-effect though.)

    Yeah, I made them longer than they should have been, I always play that song with a sustain pedal
