  1. Gigantomachia

"...We raise our thumbs in disapproval"

The second song I've composed for Notessimo. If "busy" described the last song, then no words in the English language exist that describe this. It took a lot longer to turn this from a jumble of pages into a coherent song, but I think this was worth the effort. My last note here is: I can't get through Chorus 2/3 without my computer lagging, so the only instrument that supports the main melody is the drums.

To save you the trip to Google, Gigantomachia means "a fight between giants".

Once again, thanks for your time, and enjoy the song. -The Arcanist

  2. Battalion of One

"...Now the desert moon will shine"

First track composed for Notessimo. It works off of 2 simple chord progressions, but it's busy enough that it shouldn't be overly noticeable.
I've got a lot of questions about Notessimo, and I'm not entirely sure where I should be asking them; though, mostly, I'm worried about song ownership and rights. I'm wondering if I can use music composed in this software for a video game, particularly if I want to sell the game for a profit.

Regardless, thanks for your time, and enjoy the song. -The Arcanist

  3. Flooded Factory Zone (Original Piece)

I've been trying to pull through without Internet by going to places with Wi-Fi and then going back home once I get Notessimo open, lol

Anyhoo, have another fake Sonic song. :V

  12. Fight 'til the Last Breath (Final Boss Tune)

Oooooooohhh mama! I finally brought this beast back from the dead!

Also, the synth part seems a bit quiet in the V2 player. I have no clue how it sounds in the new one, so consider this a test of sorts. I'm hoping all goes well!

And I'll have more to come soon, but in the meantime, have this hold you over. As always, enjoy, and leave any feedback or comments you'd like to say down below. :P

UPDATE: I guess I had more energy than I thought and managed to get some balance in the song. I guess that metal guitar can really scream!

  13. The Challenge is Over

Here's the first of my songs that I lost ages ago. My college classes don't start until Tuesday, so I still have a little bit of time to post here before my life gets taken over. :P

This was back when I was still trying to get my creative juices flowing to make music. I was originally trying to learn how to make a game so I could put this in at the end, but I had no such luck (I have no idea how to program anything, plus I'm just now getting ready to go to art school to learn how to animate and make artwork and all that jazz).

But as always, I hope you enjoy!

P.S. The next song I post is a personal favorite out of my compositions. Get ready!

    P.S.S. Use the old player!!

  14. Emerald Rush (Special Stage Original Piece)

Oh good, I finally managed to figure out how to upload music to the site! I've made a few other songs in the past, but 1) they were on my old computer, and 2) They ended up getting lost a couple times because I forgot it saved to the cache when you saved locally.

But enough about that, here's my first Notessimo upload! It originally just kinda started of as its own little thing, but then I kinda felt a Sonic vibe come off it (reminiscent of Colors/Lost World imo) so I just went with the flow and came up with this as the end result! Enjoy!

*Bonus* If you listen closely, I snuck in the old Emerald jingle seven times throughout the song before it loops. Try to find them if you can!

  19. Melancholy Soldier

    Come at me, critics.
    Watch on YouTube

  20. Returning Home [8bit]

A simple 8-bit track that sticks with a basic sound. I will be doing a few of these at least, but the next few will have a more complex sound. I just wanted to get the basic sound first.

  21. Fast and Slow, Stop and Go

A looping piano solo that from slow to fast and back again.  I think it has some good trills.

  22. Town Uneasy

Intended for use in a small RPG. This would play if the player was in a strange town or if it was night and unsafe, etc.
