One of the battle themes from the Nintendo DS remake of Kirby Super Star's exclusive new minigames "Revenge of the King" which is a harder version of the Spring Breeze minigame which in itself is an easier scaled-down version of Kirby's Dream Land. Since Kabula was nowhere to be seen in Spring Breeze, I'm guessing the developers wanted to include this boss to make it feel more like the hard mode in the original Kirby's Dream Land. Right down to even bringing back some enemies from the hard mode to boot.
